are an eco-friendly alternative to conventional disposable plates. These biodegradable areca leaf 

plates are a natural and renewable resource. Areca Leaf that are naturally discarded from the areca 

tree are collected from the forest floor and no trees are cut.

Process

India has abundant Areca Palm Trees. These Areca Palm trees are cultivated for "Betel Nuts" which is chewed and is used in making Pan. Each Areca Tree sheds 10 to 15 leaves every year. These Leaf Sheaths which naturally fall from the trees are collected from the Areca Farms and transported by truck to our factory.

These dry Areca Leaf Sheaths are soaked in water and throughly cleaned using brushes to eliminate the sand.

The leaves are so arranged as to drain the water.

These leaves are then pressed in the moulds of various sizes and attractive designs according to the demand-requirements. .

These plates are then packed as per customer requirements and kept safely.

These packed plates can be used confidently even after six months.

Packing

The Plates and Bowls are Shrink wrapped as 25 pieces per Shrink with one Silica Gel packet in each pack. They are then packed in Carton boxes as per customer requirements. Before packing, the plates are segregated for quality and the edges are neatly trimmed.

Custom packing also provided as per customer requirements.

Certification

The products are completely hygenic and safe.

Health & Safety Testing

Test: Coliform and Yeast/Mold testing

Explanation: The products are sanitary for immediate use out of the package.

PhytoSanitation

Test:Before shipping, the container is fumigated and tested for safety. To be exported, the test must be passed.

Explanation:Plant material is safe for contact with food.

Explanation: Testing for heavy metals is for both human and environmental concern. The tests will show that it is well below the acceptable level.

 Compost ability Testing:

Test: Biological material testing

Explanation:The products are completely natural. There are no additives, plastics, waxes or glues in the products.

Test:Speed and ability to be composted.

Explanation:The standard for this test is 60% in 90 days. Areca leaf products will be composted 150 % above the standard in 2/3 the time.
